Are you passionate about shaping young minds and fostering a love for mathematics? Prague Middle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Math Teacher to join our team. As a pivotal member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the exciting world of mathematics.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons appropriate for middle school students.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth and student success.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support individual growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, instructional materials, and assessment tools aligned with educational standards.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community.
Required Qualifications Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
Valid teaching certification/license.
Proven experience teaching middle school mathematics, with a strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
Passion for working with adolescents and helping them build confidence and proficiency in math.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in mathematics education
