| Description | Chouteau Public Schools is seeking a dynamic, dedicated band instructor to join our Wildcat team to lead and help grow our instrumental music program for students in grades 6 through 12. We are looking for a candidate who not only loves music, but will pass on that love to our students, build strong foundational skills, and develop advanced musicianship and strive for performance excellence at the secondary level. | Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree in Music Education (or related field) Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate with an Instrumental Music endorsement Strong knowledge of instrumental pedagogy across a variety of instruments Effective classroom management and organizational skills Ability to build positive relationships with students and families |
| Preferred Qualifications | Experience teaching band at multiple grade levels Experience with marching band and other ensembles Success in growing and sustaining a band program |
