Description

Job Title: Program Director (Special Programs)
Location: Harding Fine Arts Academy
Reports To: Superintendent and Site Principal

Position Summary:
The Program Director will oversee and coordinate all special programs within the district, with a primary emphasis on Special Education. This position ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while supporting high-quality instruction and services for students. The director will also supervise Gifted & Talented, English Language Learners (ELL), and serve as the District Test Coordinator, ensuring alignment and effectiveness across all programs.
Required Qualifications Qualifications:

Valid Special Education (SPED) certification required
Certification as a Special Education Director (or ability to obtain)
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Special Education or related leadership role
Strong knowledge of IDEA, state regulations, and compliance requirements
Experience with student data analysis and instructional planning
