Description

Beggs Public Schools is looking for a middle school social studies teacher. We are looking for someone that can be responsible for creating an engaging, inclusive, and effective learning environment that fosters student growth and achievement. This role requires a commitment to instructional excellence, curriculum development, and collaborative professional practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Participate actively in curriculum review and instructional design to support vertical and horizontal alignment of content and standards.
-Plan and deliver differentiated instruction using a range of effective teaching strategies aligned with lesson objectives and best practices.
-Assess student performance and learning needs through timely and consistent formative and summative assessments.
-Monitor student progress and adjust instructional plans to meet diverse learning needs and maximize academic growth.
-Develop and implement a program of study that reflects the individual strengths, interests, and needs of students.
-Establish and maintain a classroom environment that is safe, respectful, and conducive to learning.
-Provide students and families with regular, constructive feedback and progress reports in alignment with district guidelines.
-Support and implement district-wide initiatives and instructional goals with fidelity.
-Collaborate effectively with grade-level and content-area teams to enhance instructional practices and improve student outcomes.
